Our History in the Community

Established in 1910 by Marsh Thornton, our Agency has grown to a full service insurance agency, licensed to provide insurance coverage in New York and Pennsylvania, from a number of quality Insurance Carriers.

We joined the Iroquois Group in 1987 in order to obtain a better choice of Insurance Carriers and provide more quality products to our clients. This relatonship has provided many insurance coverage and premium benefits to our clients.

With locations in Spencer and Candor New York, Spencer Agency, Inc. serves the insurance needs of individuals, familes and business concerns in Tioga, Tompkins, Chemung, Broome and a number of adjacent counties.
